Adrian Fenty is running for mayor
DC councilman Adrian Fenty has declared that he's running for mayor in the 2006 election. Fenty, a Democrat who is currently the representative for Ward 4, vowed to "spend more on schools, affordable housing and other programs to help neighborhoods left behind by the capital's downtown renaissance." I.e. the same pledge every person who has ever run for office higher than dog-catcher has made. The silly season starts early this time around. How long before Orange and Williams go public with their mayoral plans?
