School modernization bill to move out of committee?

According to Marc Borbely at FixOurSchools.net the School Modernization Financing Act of 2005 is poised to make it out of the DC Council's Finance Committee.
Dear D.C. Public Schools Supporters --

Fantastic news...!!!!

We have just received confirmations from Marion Barry's office that he will be voting "yes" along with Kathy Patterson, and in addition from Sharon Ambrose's office that she will be voting "yes" if her yes is required to move the bill out of committee. This is a majority of the five-member Committee!!! (Jack Evans intends to vote "present." We don't know yet about Mr. Orange.)

Thank you to those of you who have already e-mailed or called, and to those of you who were going to do so. For those of you who want to see the fruits of your labor, join us to watch the vote on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Room 120 (on the 1st, not 4th, floor).

Ms. Patterson, Mr. Barry and Ms. Ambrose: Thank you all three of you SO MUCH for helping to move this bill forward. This is a step towards a brighter future for thousands and thousands of children.

The Council's Education Committee also needs to approve the bill, but since four of the five members are co-sponsors passage is expected.

UPDATE: Fixed Marc's name, which defintely wasn't "barbell" no matter what Blogger's spell check says. My apologies Marc.
