New School for Enterprise and Development charter under investigation

The New School for Enterprise and Development charter school is under investigation for apparent grade fixing. Four consultants from the DC Public Charter School Board will comb through the transcripts for the schools 400 plus students to investigate claims made by two former employees of the school that students' grades were changed in order by the schools principal to keep the school's overall grade point average above the minimum to keep it open. The school's charter was revoked by the board last month.
