DCPS licenses SchoolNet

Basically PR fluff, but interesting nevertheless:
SchoolNet, Inc., the nation's leader in Instructional Management Solutions (IMS), today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), one of the 50 largest school districts in the nation. The new partnership builds on SchoolNet's record growth success with large districts making strategic investments to utilize high-impact technology to impact education reform.

"We are excited to be working with DCPS to improve academic achievement," said Jonathan D. Harber, CEO and president, SchoolNet. "School districts like DCPS are adopting 21st Century management practices, and SchoolNet is proud to be their partner regarding these important initiatives."
DCPS doesn't have a very good history with large software projects. Let's hope this one goes better.
