Five students were arrested on Friday in two separate afternoon fights at Anacostia High School in Southeast.
Officers assigned to the school were breaking up the fight when a second one broke out in another wing of the school.
They had to call 6th District police officers for help with the second one. A school spokeswoman said there was no property damage.
On Tuesday, a dozen females were arrested after students and parents brawled outside Coolidge High School in Northwest.
That started as an incident between two students at a Metro stop the day before, and when one of the students and her mother came to school the next day, they were met by a group of women as they left.
