DCPS ranks 46th in country in AP performace

In their latest AP Report to the Nation which ranks states by the performance of their public school students on the Advance Placement tests. DC ranked 45th out of 51, with 6.9% of DCPS students receiving a 3 or higher on an AP test. This represents a bump of 1.2% over last year's number (5.7%) but is still down from 8.7% in 2003. Maryland ranked first in the report. Virginia ranked third. The Washington Times has an article about the report here.
